We started organising Bird Watching holidays for birdwatchers in 1997 with the aim of providing an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere where the observation and study of birds and wildlife was to be an educational and enjoyable experience rather than a regimental route march from one species to another. Our tours so far have taken us on adventures to 5 continents and in excess of 20 different countries. We don’t employ office staff, produce glossy brochures or advertise in the ‘birding’ magazines as these costs would have to be built in to the prices of the holidays that we offer. We have preferred to build up our client base slowly and surely over the past decade and most of our new customers find us by word of mouth and recommendation.

We offer tours to many overseas destinations, all around the UK and also have regular day trips throughout NW England. We also run bird identification weekends throughout the year and short Fylde Coast birding breaks.

The company is run by Stuart Meredith who has previously worked for the RSPB and the Wildfowl Trust and most of our other guides and leaders have experience of working in conservation. All our tours are run at a relaxed and easy going pace – if charging round at breakneck speed and jumping in and out of minibuses is your idea of a birding holiday then please don’t call us as we’re for birdwatchers and not bird listers !
