Bookings
A booking for a Ribble Bird Tour is only accepted with a completed booking form
and the required deposit. We can reserve a place on any tour for up to 7 days by
phone or e-mail but the reservation will only become a confirmed booking on
receipt of a completed booking form and deposit. Once a deposit cheque has
cleared in our account that booking is subject to our terms and conditions. Any
deposits paid to Ribble Bird Tours, for any of our tours, are non returnable.
Payments
A deposit is required to book on all Ribble Bird Tours. All payments must be
made by cheque payable to Ribble Bird Tours. The deposit for all holidays
is non returnable. On receipt of your deposit and booking form we will send you
a receipt by return which will also advise you of the date that the balance of
payment is due. All balances must be received by Ribble Bird Tours by the due
date. Any monies paid to Ribble Bird Tours are non returnable once the balance
due date has passed.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you wish to cancel your holiday with us for any reason you will be liable for
the loss of any deposit paid to us and may be liable for any balances paid to
us. All cancellations must be made in writing. If you cancel your holiday
with us after the balance has been paid you will be liable for the full cost of
the tour and will not be entitled to any refund. Should Ribble Bird Tours incur
any losses due to you cancelling your holiday with us before the balance is due
we would expect these losses to be met out of any paid deposits received by us.
Should any losses exceed the sum paid to us as a deposit we would expect to be
compensated in full. However, in all circumstances and at our discretion, Ribble
Bird Tours will try to minimise any losses incurred by ourselves and our
customers. Should you need to cancel we would try our best to fill your places
and therefore minimise your losses. Should Ribble Bird Tours cancel your holiday
for any reason we will offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund of all
monies paid to us. All holidays have a minimum number of participants required
to make them viable and should any holiday not receive the required number of
bookings by the balance is due date we reserve the right to cancel the tour.
However, we will endeavour to run every advertised tour regardless of the number
of bookings that have been received.
Tour Price
The cost of the tour is as stated on the booking form. What is and is not
included in the cost is as detailed in the tour itinerary. In very exceptional
circumstances the cost of a tour may increase or decrease slightly (due to
unforeseen foreign exchange rate fluctuations or an increase in airport taxes
etc). Any increases will be made in consultation with the customer and would
always be voluntarily.
Travel Insurance
Travel Insurance is not included in the cost of our holidays. However, valid
travel insurance is required to participate in all Ribble Bird Tours that are
outside the UK and policy details may be required by us before we can accept
your booking.
Financial Protection
As a small tour operator Ribble Bird Tours does not own it’s own ATOL bond. To
comply with current CAA regulations our holidays are priced with a cost for
ground arrangements and a separate flight cost. Flights are exclusive of the
ground arrangements and are not part of the tour package. Any flights that are
booked by Ribble Bird Tours on your behalf will be booked through an ATOL bond
holder. |
